Competition is what has always made business produce better products, enhanced customer services and increasingly looking over the horizon to figure what you will need in the future.
GLN, a small privately held company, has been doing this for about twenty years--full time with staff ranging from four to sixteen people in all areas of certifications around the world, not just for USA authorities.
Client Base
Includes the CIA, FBI, FAA, the UAL Avolar program, NetJets (parts of it), Flexjet, and about 3,000 corporate flight departments ranging from the executive Boeing fleet on down.
Competition, honest competition does not hurt us, but there are few things we think you should consider if you are searching. Here is our obviously biased looked at things:
- Experience: Time in the profession is important. We have been doing this full-time for nearly twenty years with offices and staff. Another good one here is D & D Aviation and Assessment Compliance Group.
GLN has completed thousands and thousands of project all over the world. Our experience level is second to none, whether you have a small aircraft or a B777 under a foreign registry.
- Range of Compliance Products: GLN has the full range of products and probably the only one that does. We have RVSM, MEL, International Operations, General Operations Manuals, General Maintenance Manuals, Training Programs, Flight Attendant Manuals, Safety Management and more . . . .
- Content Quality: Probably the best in the world. But there may be other good ones there or better in some areas, but we do certifications all over the world in all kinds of aviation authorities so we get a depth of feeling as to what is good practices and policies.
- Binder Quality: Second to none. Our binders are custom produced and are identical to what is in the Global Express. Tough, heavy duty, durable.

- D & D Aviation. Danny Wright has been doing compliance manuals for a long, long time. His website is www.danddaviation.com. He is located in the Atlanta area. He does a good job and has been doing this for a long time with full-time staff also.
- Assessment Compliance Group. Another good competitor of quality manuals that has been around for many years with full time staff. At www.aviationmanuals.com.
- Jet RVSM Services. We only see RVSM manuals there and not MELs or International Operations. That site is at www.jetrvsm.com.
- Hunter and Hunter Enterprises. A variety of manuals including small aircraft MELs. At www.jet-mel.com.
- RVSM Manual Services. We think only RVSM manuals and not MELs or other manuals. That site is at www.rvsmservices.com.
- RVSM Manual. Looks like only RVSM. See www.rvsmmanual.com.
- AvSource. Has RVSM and SMS and maybe some other manuals. See www.avsourcemanuals.com.
- Fly RVSM. It appears they have RVSM and International Operations, but maybe not MELs or other manuals. Their site is www.flyrvsm.com.
- 135 Cert. This shows up under an RVSM search, but we did not see RVSM manuals on the site. The website is www.135cert.com.
