Our SMS program, which we have completed from the B747 on down, is currently awaiting revision to see what the FAA wants to do. We are not a fan of the SMS, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is that we feel that with GOMs, GMMs, Training Programs and more than the SMS issues are adequately addressed and that making more SMS manuals (good for us, to be sure), does nothing for aviation safety.
